Does it all have to end? I hate taking down the decorations and putting away the Christmas music and new toys. The house feels so bare and cold.
We just spent a wonderful holiday with these 14 people:
Mimi and Papa flew in from Maine. Luke's brother Morgan and his family flew in from Georgia. Luke's sister Ashley and her family live only 20 minutes away, so they celebrated with us as well. (But we definitely missed Uncle Evan who had to work and couldn't visit!)
Christmas Eve was full of games, a surprise visit from Santa, and a play or 2 or 3 (Camden insisted on reenacting all 15 Christmas jokes he had prepared. Really, I don't know where his thrill of Christmas Eve entertainment comes from...)
A camel, a donkey, Mary and baby Jesus.
All the Stinson grandsons. (Yip, boys run deep in this family).
(Maaaaps.....Maaaaps).
And keeping up after these cuties. It's so fun to see them play together with their cousins.
And we did some sledding on New Years Eve.
(Aunt Emmy made these cute hats for all the cousins.)

Wow! I guess we really did have a funtastic time this christmas! All those flu-bugs, coughs, fever and ear infections just pale in the memories of what we (you) pulled off! Really , how many women can brag about getting 4 children down for afternoon naps all at the same time! Thanks so much for allowing your household to be taken over> mimi
Ahhh,ohhh,such precious pictures. So glad you had such a good time. Loved Mimi's comments, too. So it wasn't all rosy, huh? Next year it's our turn! I liked your comment about Camden and his Christmas Eve entertainment. It's such a shame not to have a video every year. When he's a little bigger he'll probably revive it only much more sophisicated than you ever did it.
Yesterday it was Christmas here-again. They celebrate the date on the old Julian calendar, January 7th.
Sounds like a nice holiday. I have never had to host. That extended family picture is great. The camel and donkey costumes are so cute.
