It's been a while since I've blogged. Life just gets so busy, especially since the start of school. However, I was going through my pictures last night and decided there were a few random shots that I wanted to remember from our summer and recent weeks.
First up: Hiking to the falls with some friends and neighbors. My boys loved it and I promised we would go a lot more this summer... but this was right before it got really hot, and now it is suddenly cold. Note to self, got to do more hiking next summer!
Randomness below. They think this is so fun. They have to do it before I catch them because of course they use MY blankets and pillows. I cringe even now seeing them in front of my entry! But, it does make for some good landing gear.
These two pictures were from a late summer trip to Idaho. Grandpa takes all the grandkids 8 years old and up on a camping trip each year and Camden was SO excited he could finally go this year. So, we made it into a week trip of fun and these were a couple of highlights: riding the carousel with cousins,
"Ya mule!"
I always have to get a shot of the wheat field this time of year. One of those things I never thought was beautiful until I moved away from it.
Our Saturday mornings for the past two months looked like this:
Luke even coached a few of Jack's games which were always entertaining. Just in case the kids got bored on the field, Jack was always quick to get them involved in a game of tag or "Give me 5, on the side" during the soccer game.
This is a cool science project we have recently found here. It was really quick and easy to make and has kept them entertained daily. You can create one solution and keep using it over and over. This was the only picture I had of Jack's hands not covering his face. He has a tendency to flap his wings when he gets excited.
Luke surprised me for my birthday and took me to this:
It was awesome. We had such a fun day together. The Captial Theatre does an amazing job making it feel like you are seeing it on Broadway.
This was our Labor Day entertainment:
And now school is in full swing... Jack is gone half day to kindergarten, and it was really weird that first week getting used to the quietness of the house with just these two to entertain. (Tigger accompanies us everywhere we go).
But we have definitely been keeping busy. Being a mother of superheros is full of never ending adventures!

Cute pictures! So are the boys jumping into that pile of blankets and pillows? My kids would LOVE that, too.
Loved your hubby's birthday present; He has really got you figured out!!!(no blender or dustbusters for you!)
Super Woman is the mom of the super heros. Hope you have your costume somewhere too!
