One more thing crossed off on our "summer to do list" - we visited the Bingham Copper Mine. Camden is very interested in crystals and (ahem...) polished rocks, and Jack and Colby love a big dump truck like the best of them, so we brought our cousins along and had a great day.
Let me get out my facts here... this could fit two empire state building stacked vertically, plus some!
The size of the dump truck wheels up close.
Cousins stopping for a picture.
Colby loved this part until he realized he could not get at those trucks. That did not go over well.
I used to have a fetish for rocks myself.
Looking at gems up close.
What a fun day.

What a fun day I remember going there as a kid. Wish we were there with you!
How cool. And what a perfect outing for boys. I've never even thought of going there. I'll have to take my boys someday.
Hey,tell Camden I remember going there with my Aunt Helen a long time ago. It was huge then and that was over 50 years ago. That was a fun thing for you to do.
Really? I think I am such a lame mom.:) You are always taking your kids to do something fun! Looks like fun.
What a fun trip! I've always wanted to go there. And they will always be "poshed" rocks to me, Les. :)
